RAIN HALTS HICKORY MIDGET-FOCUS DOUBLEHEADER
Hickory, NC…….Rain halted Thursday night’s USAC Mopar National Midget/Midwest-Carolina Ford Focus doubleheader at Hickory Motor Speedway following two of the three Midget heat races. Wednesday night’s Midget race winner, Shane Hmiel, was Thursday’s fastest qualifier, while Bradley Riethmeyer was the fastest Ford Focus qualifier. Cody Acton of Denver, N.C. won the 12-lap Young Guns exhibition race over Gage Walker and Ross Rankine. The USAC Mopar National Midget Series resumes action April 11 at the Anderson (IN) Speedway.
