CLAUSON TAKES NIGHT 1 OF “HALL OF FAME CLASSIC”
Sun Prairie, WI……..USAC Mopar National Midget point leader Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. claimed victory on the opening night of the National Midget Auto Racing “Hall of Fame Classic” at Angell Park Speedway. He took the lead from Jerry Coons Jr. on a restart at lap 22 and led the final nine laps in his Parker Stone/Esslinger Spike to beat Coons, Dave Darland, Brad Kuhn and Davey Ray. Driver Zach Daum was taken to a local hospital for a check-up after flipping on the 22nd lap of the feature. Clauson’s point lead over Kuhn stands at 55 points entering Sunday night’s “Hall of Fame Classic” finale at Angell Park.
