CLAUSON “SWEEPS” ANGELL PARK’S “HALL OF FAME CLASSIC”
Sun Prairie, WI……..Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. capped off a perfect “National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame Classic” Sunday night, winning the 30-lap USAC Mopar National Midget finale at Angell Park Speedway. Clauson also won Saturday’s 30-lapper at Sun Prairie in his Parker Stone Esslinger/Spike and claimed the overall two-race title. His performance in the two feature events also earned him the event’s “Hard Charger” award. Jerry Coons Jr. led the first 20 laps of Sunday’s race before yielding to Clauson. Coons settled for second at the finish, followed by Brad Kuhn, Davey Ray and Tracy Hines. Dave Darland was Sunday’s fastest qualifier and finished sixth.
