CLOUSER WINS ILLINOIS STATE MIDGET AUTO RACING CHAMPIONSHIP AT GRUNDY COUNTY

Morris, Ill……..Mario Clouser of Auburn, Ill. won Saturday night’s 40-lap Illinois State Midget Auto Racing Championship USAC Regional Midget feature event at Grundy County Speedway. Clouser passed Jim Anderson on lap five and led the rest of the way to beat Anderson, Mario Marietta, Aaron Andruskevitch and Dakoda Armstrong. Travis Young extended his series point lead with his ninth-place finish. Jordan Pennington won the accompanying 25-lap USAC Midwest/UMARA Ford Focus feature.
