Taylor Ferns and Caleb Armstrong shared center stage Sunday at the Anderson Speedway.

Ferns, of Shelby Township, Mich., became the first lady driver to win a USAC Kenyon Midget race, leading all 30 laps in her Time Auto Transport/Motor City Auto Transport Yamaha.

Armstrong, of New Castle, Ind., finished second and claimed the season Kenyon Midget Championship as a result. His closest pursuer in the standings, only two behind entering the feature, was Drew Charlson, who finished fifth. Dalton Armstrong and Jeff Wimmenauer finished third and fourth.

The Kenyon Midget Champions, including car owner champions C & A Motorsports, will be honored at the annual USAC Regional Racing Series banquet November 8 in Indianapolis, Indiana
