Ford Focus News - Midwest Engine Sealing Date Announced

All Midwest and UMARA Ford Focus car entrants must have the new style seals on their engines before competing in the remaining USAC Ford Focus races this season.  These seals are the new red hard plastic six sided seals that have either the Ford Racing or USAC emblem on them.

A special engine-sealing session has been arranged for Monday, August 3, at Nine Racing, located at 451 Southpointe Circle (Suite 300) in Brownsburg, Ind.

It is strongly suggested that appointments be secured for the session, which takes place between noon and 5 pm and car entrants may schedule an appointment by contacting James Spink, USAC Developmental Racing Director, at 317-247-5151 or by e-mailing him at This email address is being protected from spambots. Please note there is no charge to have your engines, sealed and certified.

This process is mandatory for all Ford Focus car entrants wishing to compete during the balance of the 2009 racing season, which includes the National Championship events September 19 at Columbus Motor Speedway and November 21 at Ventura Raceway.
