USAC MIDWEST REGIONAL MIDGETS

Friday, May 7 – Gas City I-69 Speedway (Gas City, Indiana)

Gas City, Indiana………The USAC Midwest Regional Midgets make a stop at Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway this Friday, May 7.

Shane Cottle, who captured the Gas City Sprint Car championship in 2004 and 2009, leads the USAC Midwest Regional Midget standings following his victory on April 24 at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind.

Adam Taylor (Dwight, Ill.) won the lone series event at Gas City in 2020.

Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets will also be in action.

Pits open at 3pm eastern, with grandstands opening at 5pm and hot laps at 6:30pm followed by racing.  Adult general admission tickets are $15 with kids 12 and under free.  Pit passes are $30 apiece.

USAC ENGLER IMRA SPEED2 MIDGETS

Friday, May 7 – Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Illinois)

Lincoln, Illinois………The USAC Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midgets will be back in action this Friday night, May 7 at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway.  The event will mark the first ever appearance by the series at the racy quarter-mile dirt oval.

Jake Neuman (New Berlin, Ill.) led the final four laps en route to last weekend’s victory at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill.  Mark McMahill (Peoria, Ill.) enters the weekend as the series point leader.

Pits open at 4pm central with grandstands opening at 5pm and hot laps at 6pm with racing immediately following.  The event will also feature Midgets, Pro Lates, Mods, Sportsman and Hornets.

Grandstand admission is $18, while kids 11 and under are free. Tickets and pit passes will be available at the track on race day.

AMSOIL USAC CRA SPRINT CARS

Saturday, May 8 – Bakersfield Speedway (Bakersfield, California)

Bakersfield, California………This Saturday, May 8th, the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will make their only appearance of the year at Bakersfield Speedway (Bakersfield, CA).

Promoted by Scott Schweitzer, the "The West's Fastest 1/3-Mile High Banked Clay Oval" will also feature Mini Stocks and Mod Lites. The show will follow COVID-19 protocols and face coverings are required for people on the grounds.

The Pit Gates will open at 2:30pm, the Front Gates will open at 4:00pm, and Racing is scheduled for 6:00pm.

USAC WHOLESALE BATTERIES MIDWEST RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CARS

Saturday, May 8 – Nevada Speedway (Nevada, Missouri)

Nevada, Missouri………Saturday Night, May 8th, the stars and cars of the Midwest Wingless Racing Association visit “Nevada” for the first time to open up their 2021 campaign!

The Missouri 1/4 mile semi banked dirt track, located 100 miles South of Kansas City, and just off highway 49, has long been a destination for some of the best local modified and stock car racing in the area.

In 2021 the MWRA bring non winged sprint cars, featuring the best cars and drivers from the Heartland to Nevada, population (8,300).

Nevada Speedway, has long been a hidden gem in the “Show Me State”, and will feature the ladies and gentlemen of the MWRA coming off a spectacular campaign in 2020! Featuring a championship battle that came down to the final checkered flag to decide the outcome! But only after a tie breaker gave the championship to the “Sheriff” Wyatt Burks driving the late Don Rumsey’s 11w of Topeka, Kansas, winning first place hardware over Cornhusker legend Don Droud Jr. running the Mark Burch 1M.

While Wesley Smith driving the John Helm #12, Chris Parkinson, and  Brian Scott Beebe, would round out the top 5 in points.

Mark Lane won the ROY in 2020 racing with the MWRA. With teenage gunner Dakota Earls taking the Most Improved, and the Lawman Chad Goff, Kyle Lewis, and Brad Wyatt, finishing in the top 10. During a unforgettable first season for this Midwest USAC Series.

USAC RAPID TIRE EAST COAST SPRINT CARS PRESENTED BY CAPITOL CUSTOM TRAILERS

Saturday, May 8 – Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware)

Delmar, Delaware………The USAC East Coast Sprint Cars presented by Capitol Custom Trailers resumes its season with round three of the 2021 campaign at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar.

Alex Bright (Collegeville, Pa.) leads the standings entering the event following his victory in the most recent event at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway.  Briggs Danner (Allentown, Pa.) stands two points behind Bright after winning the season opener in April at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Speedway.

Kenny Miller III (Morgantown, Pa.) recorded his first series victory in the 2020 trip to Delaware International after last race pass, leading just the final three laps.

Saturday at Delaware, the Delaware Dirt Modifieds, Super Late Models, AC Delco PSC Modifieds, RUSH Late Model Series and Modified Lites join the action.

Gates open at 5pm eastern with racing at 7pm.  Adult tickets are $20 with children aged 13 and under free.  Pit passes are $35 for adults, $5 for children 7-13 Pits and free for children aged 6 and under.

USAC WINGLESS SPRINTS OKLAHOMA

Saturday, May 8 – Oklahoma Sports Park (Ada, Oklahoma)

Ada, Oklahoma………USAC Wingless Sprint Oklahoma is raring to get the 2021 season underway this Saturday, May 8, at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada.

Brett Wilson (Coweta, Okla.), the 2018-19 series champion, led all 20 laps in last year’s visit to Ada.

Gates open at 5pm central with racing beginning at 7:30pm.  The event will also showcase Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Economy Mods, Economy Mod Jr. and Sport Mods.  General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and children aged 11-15, and free for children aged 10 and under.  Pit passes are $30.

USAC DMA SPEED2 MIDGETS

Saturday, May 8 – Bear Ridge Speedway (Bradford, Vermont)

Bradford, Vermont………The USAC Dirt Midget Association season launches on Saturday, May 8, at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vermont.

Will Hull (Plainfield, Vt.) drove from 13th to win the 2020 series opener at Bear Ridge.  The third-place finisher that same night, Seth Carlson (Stafford, Conn.) raced away with a series high five feature victories throughout the year – all at Bear Ridge – to capture the title.

Pits open at 3pm eastern with gates opening at 5pm and racing at 6pm.  Adult tickets are $12 with kids aged 11 and under just $2.  The age 62 and over crowd is $10.  Pit passes are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
