WISE HUNTS DOWN NASHVILLE FOCUS WIN
Nashville, Tennessee (August 7, 2021)………Hunter Wise raced to his second victory of the USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget season Saturday night at Tennessee’s Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in a co-sanctioned event with the USAC Radical Focus Midgets.
Wise (Allentown, Pa.) blitzed into the lead past fast qualifier Sam Mazzo (Burns, Tenn.) on the fourth lap of the 30-lap affair, leading the final 27 circuits to score the win.
Mazzo took second while Jessica Bean (Fairland, Ind.) was third, ending her six-race winning streak with the Radical series dating back to late 2020. Brady Allum (Gold Hill, N.C.) took fourth while Nathan Byrd (Goodyear, Ariz.) rounded out the top-five.
