Lawrenceburg, Indiana (July 24, 2022)………Mitchel Moles leads the USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week standings entering round three of the series on Monday night, July 25, at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis.

Moles, a USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and Indiana Sprint Week Rookie out of Raisin City, Calif., has scored Fatheadz Eyewear Fast Qualifying times on both nights of Indiana Sprint Week action thus far – on Friday at Gas City I-69 Speedway and at Sunday’s rain abbreviated event at Lawrenceburg Speedway – and finished third in the Gas City feature.

Rain won the night at Lawrenceburg’s event just as the feature event was pushing to start the 30-lap main event.  However, competitors still earned qualifying and preliminary race points toward their total.  Slated feature starters were issued 23 points while non-feature starters received 10 points toward the Indiana Sprint Week standings.

At Lawrenceburg, Moles gained six points for fast time and eight points for his heat race win, and now holds a five-point advantage over Ione, California’s Justin Grant.  Rocklin, California’s Robert Ballou stands third (-15), Fort Branch, Indiana’s Chase Stockon is fourth (-16) while Princeton, Indiana’s Kyle Cummins (-22) rounds out the top-five at the moment.

Indiana Sprint Week continues Monday night, July 25, at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis.  The event features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship presented by Mastin & Cain along with the Sherley Unlimited Snow Company UMP Modifieds.

Pits open at 3pm Eastern at Circle City with the front gates opening at 5:30pm, the drivers meeting at 6pm and hot laps at 6:30pm with qualifying and racing immediately following.
