MCQMRA NEWEST MEMBER OF USAC'S MOPAR .25 MIDGET FAMILY

MCQMRA NEWEST MEMBER OF USAC’S MOPAR .25 MIDGET FAMILY

The Music City Quarter Midget Racing Association is the newest member of USAC’s growing family of Mopar .25 Midget clubs.

“As President and Owner of Music City Quarter Midget Racing Association, I am thrilled to have our track join the USAC racing family,” said Pete Barnett. “We look forward to working with the USAC organization to provide a fun, high-quality racing experience for the kids and families in our racing community.”

Headquartered near Nashville, Tenn., the club bills itself as “Fast Kids, Close Families” and that was never more evident than when adversity hit this May in the form of flood waters which inundated the club’s racing facility in Hermitage, Tenn. The club suffered postponements and cancellations of scheduled activities yet has overcome the extreme adversity and endured.

“We look forward to this new relationship with MCQMRA,” says USAC Developmental Racing Series Director James Spink. MCQMRA has a great racing history and we are proud to now be a part of it. Having another club join the USAC .25 Midget family is great. We look forward to bringing a “Generation Next” race to their revamped facility in 2011.”

The addition of MCQMRA comes hot on the heels of two other clubs joining the USAC .25 family in 2010, North Carolina and Metro Atlanta. These three clubs in the southeast solidify the USAC model and sets up some great racing among participants in the three clubs.
