DMA MIDGET FINALE SATURDAY AT BEAR RIDGE;

#8 FOR PIERSON EARNS “DOUBLE” POINTS

The 2014 USAC DMA Midget champion will be crowned this Saturday night at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. as the series concludes its campaign.

Point leader Adam Pierson of Bradford virtually locked up the 2014 USAC title with his eighth victory of the year Saturday night at Bear Ridge. He passed Vice Lucca on lap eight and led the rest of the 25-lap race to beat Josh Sunn, Scott Holcomb, Tim Hodge and Lucca.

Saturday’s race offered “double” points, leaving Pierson with a 143-point lead over Sunn in the new standings. Scott Holcomb, Scott Viets and Mike Chaffee round out the “top-five” in points entering the series finale.
