RUTHERFORD GRABS VENTURA CRA FEATURE

Ventura, CA……..Troy Rutherford of Ojai, Calif. led the final 13 laps to win Saturday night’s USAC/CRA AMSOIL Sprint race at Ventura Raceway. Wheeling the AAA Propane Service/Trench Shoring Spike/Shark, Rutherford passed Mike Spencer on lap 18 and led the rest of the way to beat Spencer, Brody Roa, Damion Gardner and Austin Williams. Roa now leads the standings entering the May 28 “Salute to Indy” at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.
