BLOOMINGTON ADDED TO SPEED SHIFT TV’s INDIANA MIDGET WEEK SCHEDULE THIS FRIDAY

The Bloomington Speedway round of USAC’s Indiana Midget Week this Friday, June 9, will be streamed LIVE on http://www.SpeedShiftTV.com/

The event will be round four of IMW as the best midget drivers in the nation compete for supremacy on one of the fastest quarter-mile dirt tracks in the country on the high-banked, red clay, southern Indiana racing surface.  The action gets underway at 6:15pm eastern.

Indianapolis, Indiana’s Tyler Courtney (Montpelier) and Auckland, New Zealand’s Michael Pickens took the first two rounds of Indiana Midget, but such drivers as USAC National Midget point leader Brady Bacon and past series champions Rico Abreu, Tanner Thorson, Jerry Coons, Jr. and Dave Darland are among 40+ others aiming to break into victory lane during this busy stretch of six races in as many nights.

Additionally, Sunday’s Indiana Midget Week finale will be streamed LIVE by Speed Shift TV where you can witness the crowning of a new Indiana Midget Week champion.  Abreu is the defending winner, but two-time USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car champion Bacon has been a force at Kokomo in his midget racing career.  The quarter-mile is the location of his first USAC National Midget win in 2006 and where he swept both nights of the “Kokomo Grand Prix” in April of this year. On-track activities begin at 5:45pm.

After watching the race live, attending the event in person, or in the case that you missed it all together, you can catch next-day, flag-to-flag coverage of each Indiana Midget Week race and much, much more on-demand at http://www.Loudpedal.TV/.
