USAC WESTERN ROOKIES TO BE CELEBRATED AT FEBRUARY 16TH LAS VEGAS AWARDS BANQUET

USAC WESTERN ROOKIES TO BE CELEBRATED AT FEBRUARY 16TH LAS VEGAS AWARDS BANQUET

JANUARY 28, 2019... As part of the upcoming celebration at the USAC Western Awards Banquet, the drivers that earned “Rookie of the Year” honors will be recognized. The festivities will be held at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 16th.

Joel Rayborne, Britton Bock, Tyler Most, and Kyle Beilman are among numerous drivers, car owners, and special award recipients with the CRA Sprint Car, West Coast Sprint Car, SouthWest Sprint Car, Western States Midget, and Western Speed 2 US Midget divisions.

Open all racers, crews, family, friends, and fans, the annual event will begin with cocktails at noon, lunch at 1:00pm, and followed by the awards ceremony. The ticket order form is online at westcoastsprintcars.com/banquet.pdf and must be received by February 11th.

Rayborne (West Covina, CA) placed sixteenth in the final AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car point standings. 

Bock (Calistoga, CA) scored seven top-10 finishes and finished eighth in the USAC West Coast Sprint Car point chase. 

Most (Peoria, AZ) claimed eighth in the final Sands Chevrolet USAC SouthWest Sprint Car points and posted four top-10 finishes.

Beilman (Mar Vista, CA) had two top-10 finishes on his way to seventh in the Light Up The World Beverages USAC Western States Midget point standings.

Champion drivers being honored include “The Demon” Damion Gardner (CRA Sprint Car), Austin Liggett (West Coast Sprint Car), “Chargin” Charles Davis Jr. (SouthWest Sprint Car), Michael Faccinto (Western States Midget), Adam Lemke (Western Speed 2 US Midget Overall and Western Speed 2 US Pavement Midget), and Tyler Slay (Western Speed 2 US Pavement Midget). These drivers were also honored at the USAC “Night of Champions” in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 7th.
