AMERICAN RALLY ASSOCIATION AND FLOSPORTS ANNOUNCE COVERAGE FOR 2019 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Speedway, Indiana — (April 3, 2019) — Today, the American Rally Association and FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, are pleased to announce an agreement to provide exclusive live and on-demand coverage for the remaining 2019 ARA National Championship events on FloRacing.com.

The live and on-demand coverage will begin on April 27-28 at the DirtFish Olympus Rally in Shelton, Wash. Broadcasts will include live interviews, on-stage coverage, results, and more throughout each day of competition. Fans will get to watch and hear from North America’s top rally teams, including Team Subaru stars such as Oliver Solberg and Dave Higgins, as well as top drivers like current points leader Barry McKenna, Piotr Fetela and Jeff Seehorn.

“Stage rally racing in the United States speaks directly to the core of today’s car enthusiast, and the ARA’s partnership with FloSports is an excellent opportunity to showcase the sport and its stars on FloRacing,” USAC President and CEO, Kevin Miller said. “Rally racing happens in some of the most obscure parts of the country, on back-roads that are many times inaccessible to race fans. Partnering with FloSports allows those fans to watch how the stories of the weekend unfold for some of the most talented drivers in the world.”

“FloSports is proud to bring the 2019 ARA National Championship and Rally competitions to FloRacing,” FloSports Vice President of Global Rights Acquisition, Mike Levy said. “We are looking forward to offering rally fans and our subscribers unprecedented content and coverage from these events, as well as providing a platform for these drivers to share their stories.”

In addition to the Olympus event, subscribers have access to the ARA National Championship as it crisscrosses the country, with events ranging from Portland, Ore. to up-state Maine. The popular Oregon Trail Rally in Portland, Ore. on May 31-June 2 will be highlighted by the season debut of five-time national champion, Travis Pastrana and co-driver Robbie Durant. The Idaho Rally International will get its inaugural crack as an ARA National Championship event on June 22-23, before the marquee New England Forest Rally in upstate Maine on July 19-20.

Pastrana and Durant will jump back behind the wheel of their Subaru for the Muscatell Ojibwe Forests Rally in northern Minnesota on August 23-24.  The start of the fall season sets a perfect backdrop for racers and fans as the ARA heads to Pennsylvania for the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally on September 13-14 and lastly, the season finale, Lake Superior Performance Rally in Houghton, Mich. on October 18-19.

The deal is part of a larger partnership between FloSports and the United States Auto Club, the parent company of the ARA. Along with rally racing, the deal brings fans more than 130 live racing events in 2019.
