LEVI JONES JOINS THUNDER RELIVED THURSDAY AT 8PM ET ON FLORACING

Speedway, Indiana………Levi Jones, the seven-time USAC National champion turned USAC’s executive vice president, is this week’s guest on episode 16 of USAC’s Thunder Relived, this Thursday night, June 4, at 8pm Eastern on FloRacing at https://bit.ly/3dzkF8Y.

Jones and Thunder Relived hosts Richie Murray and Kirk Spridgeon will explore and expand on Jones’ prolific USAC career while featuring two of his most thrilling USAC National Sprint Car victories, the 2005 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway and the 2009 Indiana Sprint Week finale at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.

The Olney, Illinois native, whose career with USAC spanned from the 1998 through the 2015 season, reached unprecedented levels in USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car competition with a record five USAC National Sprint Car championships in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and 28 career USAC National Sprint Car feature wins (15th all-time).

His four Indiana Sprint Week championships in 2004, 2008, 2009 & 2012 are tied for the most all-time alongside Kevin Thomas.  Jones captured the Eastern Storm championship twice in both 2010 and 2011.  His 391 career USAC National Sprint Car starts rank 6th all-time, and his 284 consecutive USAC National Sprint Car starts between 2004 and 2012 rank 2nd and was just recently surpassed by Chase Stockon in September of 2019.

In addition, Jones’ success spanned to other divisions with USAC as well.  He is a two-time USAC Silver Crown champion in 2010 and 2011 and banked three career victories with the series.  Jones also triumphed in USAC National Midget competition on four occasions.

Since late 2015, Jones has remained on the USAC trail full-time, but as an official for the National series.

Thunder Relived takes you in-depth with USAC personalities past and present as we revisit all the thrills, spills and the greatest moments from USAC’s vast Sprint, Midget and Silver Crown video vault.
