RAIN WASHES OUT FRIDAY’S “HUT HUNDRED” AT TRI-CITY

Pontoon Beach, Illinois.……Friday’s “Hut Hundred” Honda National Dirt Midget event scheduled at Tri-City Speedway, which was to be co-sanctioned by POWRi Racing, has been postponed by torrential overnight rain. All three entities are actively working towards a date for the race to be re-scheduled, as the prestigious event is slated to run at the Illinois oval for the first time.

The Honda National Dirt Midget Series will now attempt to start the season on June 12th with the “Indiana Midget Week” opener at Gas City I-69 Speedway. The weekend’s companion event, featuring the Traxxas Silver Crown Series in the “Gateway 100” at Gateway Motorsports Park, is still on as scheduled.
