PURSLEY, THORSON & WINDOM LEAD PROSOURCE PASSING MASTER POINTS

Speedway, Indiana (May 19, 2020)………Tanner Thorson, Daison Pursley are Chris Windom are knotted up atop the ProSource Passing Master standings entering this weekend’s inaugural Werco Manufacturing T-Town Showdown presented by B & H Contractors May 22-23 at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Port City Raceway, where both are entered to compete.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has put up a $2,500 reward to the driver who passes the most total cars during the feature events throughout USAC’s 2020 National season, and to this point, Thorson, Pursley and Windom have each advanced 18 positions.

Thorson (Minden, Nev.) has won two of the first three USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget races while Rookie of the Year contender Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) has been solid with three top-tens in three Midget starts, one of just three drivers in the series to do that thus far along with Midget point leader Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) and Midget Rookie Buddy Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.).  USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget point leader Windom also has advanced 18 while Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) has 16 and Kevin Thomas Jr. (Cullman, Ala.) rounds out the top-five with 11 through five total USAC National events run.

The T-Town Showdown festivities kick off the day before the racing starts, on Thursday, May 21, at Port City with a practice session for all Midget and Micro Sprint entries from 6-9pm Central.  Pit gates open at 4pm.  The cost is $20 admission.

Both nights of USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget racing at Port City on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 will include full series points-paying events with a complete program each night that culminates with a feature event.  Cars hit the track each night for practice at 6:30pm central.

Both nights of the T-Town Midget Showdown at Port City will be shown live on FloRacing.
