.25 MIDGET POINT LEADERS EYE TOLEDO JUNE 6-7

POINT LEADERS EYE TOLEDO JUNE 6-7
AFTER “GENERATION NEXT” ROUND 2 CONCLUDES AT XENIA



    USAC’s .25 “Generation Next Tour” point leaders have their sights set on round three June 6-7 at Toledo, Ohio after a successful second round of competition at Xenia, Ohio this past weekend. Over 200 competitors from all over the country are expected be on hand.

    Buckeye state drivers dominate the .25 standings entering the Toledo events, having won most of the divisional titles at Xenia.

    Ross Rankine of Willard leads the Senior Honda, Light World Formula and Light AA standings after feature victories in all three last weekend. Kyle Compton of Dublin leads both the Heavy Honda and Heavy 160 classes after his wins at Xenia in both. Hayden Wren of DeGraff (Junior Rookie), Shelby Perkins of Germantown (Senior Rookie), Jacob Stickle of Xenia (Junior Honda), Jeff Dunfee III of Mantua (Junior Stock), Cooper Clouse of Ohio City (Senior Stock), Nathan McCauley of Columbus (Light Mod), Chris Demaree of Columbus (Half) and and Logan McPherson of Bellefontaine (Light B) also lead their respective classes after Xenia triumphs.

    Craig Swartz of New Paris won the Xenia Heavy AA feature but the class point leader is Zach Miller of South Charleston. Jacob Miner of Maumee also won a feature at Xenia in the Junior Rookie class.

    Indiana pilots Josh Dougherty of Pendleton and Gage Walker of Fairland lead the Heavy World Formula and Light 160 classes after respective Xenia feature wins.

    The location for Round Three June 6-7 is the Lucas County Recreation Center in southwestern Toledo, home of the Northwest Ohio Quarter Midget Racing Association. The event is an extra special event as it is also the Midwest District Qualifier and will ensure participants entry into the July 8-11 .25 Midget Nationals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
