PURSLEY PICKS UP $2,020 AT FALS INVITATIONAL

PURSLEY PICKS UP $2,020 AT FALS INVITATIONAL

Fairbury, Illinois (April 11, 2020)………Daison Pursley, a USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Rookie of the Year contender in 2020, captured the $2,020-to-win AME Electrical “Saturday Night Lightning” FALS Invitational USAC iRacing Midget feature at the virtual Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Illinois.

Pursley, who drives the Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports No. 9 on the USAC Midget trail, took the victory on the quarter-mile dirt oval over Anton Hernandez, Aiden Purdue and Jason McDougal with Logan Seavey rounding out the top-five.

Hernandez pocketed $1,000 for his second-place finish courtesy of Rex Reinbold while Purdue took $500 for third from Hunter % Hammer Head Garage.  Meanwhile, Dennis Gile was awarded hard charger honors courtesy of Todd Underwood from Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports for his charge from 19th starting spot to a 6th place at the checkered flag.

Sam Johnson picked up the Sharp Advantage Safety Products $100 Passing Master bonus as the driver who passed the most cars throughout the night of racing on Saturday night.  Additionally, Sharp presented $100 off toward a custom fitted seat insert to Robert Dalby, who finished 24th.
