BEAVER STRIPES ADDS $1,000 TO T-TOWN PURSE

Tulsa, Oklahoma (May 22, 2020)………Mike White of Beaver Stripes has added $1,000 to the purse for this weekend’s May 22-23 inaugural Werco Manufacturing T-Town Midget Showdown presented by B & H Contractors.

The USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget debut at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Port City Raceway this Friday and Saturday marks the first USAC racing event in two-and-a-half months.

“Getting back to racing is a huge statement for us in the racing community,” White said.  “We have a lot of friends who have the (racing) habit and have been wanting to go back racing.”

Beaver Stripes has been a longtime supporter of Sprint Car racing and has helped out several teams, tracks and the series on the regional and National level.  The Phoenix, Arizona-based business has been a longtime sponsor of USAC events and on cars that have reached victory lane and captured USAC National championships.

The T-Town Midget Showdown festivities kick off the day before the racing starts, this Thursday, May 21, at Port City with a practice session for all Midget and Micro Sprint entries from 6-9pm Central.  Pit gates open at 4pm.  The cost is $20 admission.

Both nights of the T-Town Midget Showdown at Port City will include full series points-paying events with a complete program each night that culminates with a feature event.  Pits open at 2pm Central, Grandstands at 5pm with cars hitting the track each night for practice at 6:30pm.
