JONES WINS AT GAS CITY, CLAUSON ISW POINT LEADER

Gas City, IN…….Levi Jones of Brownsburg, Ind. grabbed the lead on lap 23 when Darren hagen’s car developed mechanical problems and Jones led the final eight laps to win Saturday night’s Indiana Sprint Week feature at Gas City I-69 Speedway. Jones piloted the Chevy/Bass Pro Shops Maxim/Kistler Chevy to the win over Bryan Clauson, Scotty Weir, Chad Boat and Blake Fitzpatrick. Clauson, who set a new track record during qualifying, is the Indiana Sprint Week point leader going into Sunday night’s race at Kokomo Speedway.
