TORRENTIAL RAIN & WET GROUNDS FORCE TERRE HAUTE CANCELLATION

Terre Haute, IN........Torrential rains Wednesday night in Terre Haute, Ind. have left the Terre Haute Action Track unraceable and have forced cancellation of tonight's 41st First Financial Bank "Tony Hulman Classic" AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race. "We are obviously disappointed with the cancellation," says USAC's Jason McCord, "but the conditions at the track and the continued forecast for additional rain and storms have left us with no alternatives. We will, however, maintain the tradition of this historic race this year and will have an announcement regarding that soon."
