CLASSIC SPRINTS FACE AL POMBO CLASSIC AT MADERA
Saturday’s “Al Pombo Classic” at the Madera (Calif.) Speedway is next for USAC’s “Classic Sprint Car” series.
Coupled with USAC’s Mopar Western Midgets on the one-third mile paved oval, the Classic sprints always provide the race fans a varied entertainment package.
Tony Hunt, who has an impressive record of victories in various forms of racing at Madera, holds a one-point lead in the series standings over lady driver Shauna Hogg.
