BLOOMINGTON ENDED EARLY BY RAIN; "SPRINT WEEK" CONCLUDES SATURDAY AT TRI-STATE

Bloomington, IN……..Just after completing the night's Semi-Feature event, heavy rains came down at Bloomington Speedway on Friday to nix the "Indiana Sprint Week" feature. After consideration of any possible resolutions, USAC and Bloomington Speedway officials have decided to call the event complete with the feature field set.

Points for the night's completed events will be awarded, and the feature purse will be split among the qualifying cars. Saturday's event at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt will serve as the "Sprint Week" finale and crown the week-long champion. Brady Bacon leads Robert Ballou by three points going into the evening's events.

Bacon was the ProSource fast qualifier Friday after setting a new Track Record of 10.854 seconds. Tyler Courtney picked up the American Racing Ministries "Perseverance Award" as the last transfer from the Semi-Feature.
