USAC EAST COAST SPRINTS READY FOR BIG DIAMOND FRIDAY

Pottsville, Pennsylvania (June 3, 2019)………The Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Cars head to Pottsville, Pennsylvania’s Big Diamond Speedway this Friday night, June 7, for “Kids Night,” round six for the series and the second of three visits to the 3/8-mile dirt oval in 2019.

Defending series champ and current series point leader Steven Drevicki (Reading, Pa.) was victorious at Big Diamond on May 17 and is the lone driver to have reached USAC East Coast victory lane twice thus far in the season.  In fact, the top-four finishers from that night’s feature mirror the series standings coming in.

Chandler Leiby (Carlisle, Pa.) finished second in May at Big Diamond and is second in points, 18 behind Drevicki.  Third-place finisher Eddie Strada (Lake Ariel, Pa.) is third in the standings, 34 out of the lead, while fourth-place finisher Chris Allen, Jr. (Wrightstown, N.J.) stands fourth in the points, 57 back.

“Kids Night” also features Sportsman, Roadrunner and Street Stock action along with face painting, bike giveaways, games and much more for the kids.  Kids age 10 and under are free, kids age 11-12 are $10 and adult general admission is $15.  Front gates open at 5:30pm (Eastern) with cars getting on track at 7:15pm (Eastern).
