VANDER WEERD BROTHERS ENTER OVAL NATIONALS

Perris, California (October 21, 2019)………Brothers Richard and Jace Vander Weerd are the latest entries for the 24th annual running of the Budweiser Oval Nationals presented By All Coast Construction at California’s Perris Auto Speedway on November 7-8-9.

The 28-year-old Visalia, California twins have made five appearances at The PAS in 2019. In those five races, Richard did not finish out of the top three and recorded two wins, two-second place finishes and one third. Jace only finished out of the top 10 one time. He drove his white and blue #88 to one sixth-place finish, one-seventh, two eighth’s and a 12th.

All three nights of the prestigious race will be full points-paying races for the USAC AMSOIL National and AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars as well as the USAC Sands Chevrolet Southwest Sprint Cars. To date, 36 cars have entered with drivers from seven different states.

Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the SoCal Fair and Event Center (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one-hour east of Los Angeles and one-hour North of San Diego.
