McMAHILL COMPLETES PERFECT USAC IMRA SEASON WITH WIN AT SPOON RIVER

Canton, Illinois (September 17, 2022)………Mark McMahill completed a perfect six-for-six season with the USAC Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midgets as he collected his sixth consecutive series victory in six tries during Saturday night’s finale at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill.

The now two-time USAC IMRA champion from Peoria, Ill. took over the lead six laps into the 20-lap event after passing Cody Gerdes, then controlled the rest of the way to win once more over Gerdes (Eureka, Ill.), Ian Creager (Covington, Ohio), Shane Morgan (Creve Coeur, Ill.) and Jake Sollenberger (Canton, Ill.).

It’s McMahill’s seventh consecutive USAC IMRA feature triumph dating back to last season and made him the first back-to-back champ of the series since Andy Baugh in 2018-19.
