MASSINGILL GOES BACK-TO-BACK AT ATOMIC

Chillicothe, Ohio (June 3, 2023)………One night after scoring his first victory of the USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget season, Bryce Massingill doubled-up by capturing his second consecutive series win on Saturday night at Chillicothe, Ohio’s Atomic Speedway.

Fifth-starting Massingill (Troy, Ohio) trailed Tyler Nelson (Olathe, Kan.) for the first 14 circuits before Nelson was befallen by trouble as he went to the sidelines and a disappointing 18th place result.

From that point forward, it was all Massingill who led the final six laps to earn his ninth career series checkered flag while also extending his series point lead to six markers over Zach Wigal.

Josh Yenser (Plain City, Ohio) crossed the line in second with Wigal (Belpre, Ohio) third, Jakeb Boxell (Zanesville, Ind.) fourth and Stratton Briggs (Anna, Ohio) fifth.
