BRENNAN ROGERS WINS USAC iRACING OPENER AT KOKOMO

Speedway, Indiana………Brennan Rogers held off challengers Alex Bergeron and Chase Cabre in a late-race three-lap dash to win Thursday night’s 40-lap USAC AMSOIL iRacing Challenge presented by NOS Energy Drink at Kokomo Speedway.

Rogers, of Camarillo, Calif., a veteran of USAC’s Western States Midget division and who also captured the 2019 USAC iRacing opener as well, slid himself into turn one on the lap 38 restart and raced to victory after starting on the pole for the event.

Bergeron and Cabre were a close second and third, respectively, while Joel Berkley and Adam Elby rounded out the top-five.  Karter Sarff, a starter in the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets on multiple occasions during the 2019 season, took sixth with Logan Rumsey seventh.

USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Rookie of the Year contender Daison Pursley was eighth with Cole Neuhalfen ninth and 2019 BC39 winner Zeb Wise rounding out the top-ten.

The USAC AMSOIL iRacing Challenge presented by NOS Energy Drink continues next Thursday, April 9, with the Sprint Cars at Knoxville Raceway, followed by Sprints on April 16 at Williams Grove Speedway and a Sprint/Midget doubleheader on April 23 at Eldora Speedway.
