Speedway, Indiana (May 24, 2025)………Jakeb Boxell will make his USAC Indiana Midget Week debut and will compete in all six events of the series between June 3-8 for 4 Kings Racing.
The 19-year-old Zanesville, Indiana native will drive the team’s Metalloid 1, AccroSeal, AccroLube, Angry Duck Graphics sponsored No. 14JB with a LynK chassis, a Stanton engine and Advanced shocks.
Boxell competed in two USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship events for 4 Kings in 2024, both at Wisconsin’s Angell Park Speedway.
A standout performer in the USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget series, Boxell finished third in series points a year ago and grabbed a feature victory at Ohio’s Limaland Motorsports Park.
For all six races of Indiana Midget Week, 4 Kings will be a two car team featuring Boxell alongside teammate Kevin Thomas Jr. of Cullman, Alabama.
“We feel that JB has earned the right to show his skills on a national level,” team owner Rex Turner said. “Jakeb is just the kind of up-and-coming talent that we look for. He is a hard-working, passionate, and all-around team player and will be a great addition to our program behind the wheel of the 14JB.”
The IMW docket consists of six events in all, with the frenzied and action packed week beginning at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis on Tuesday, June 3, followed by Paragon Speedway on Wednesday, June 4. From there, the series follows a path of familiar favorites at Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway on Thursday, June 5; Bloomington Speedway on Friday, June 6; Haubstadt’s Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, June 7; with the finale set for Kokomo Speedway on Sunday, June 8.
