Kokomo, Indiana (August 22, 2024)………Briggs Danner is the early leader of the Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Sprint Car Smackdown XIII ProSource Passing Master standings entering night two of the event at Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway on Friday night, August 23.
Danner (Allentown, Pa.) finished in Thursday’s Smackdown opening night feature event after starting 14th in the field. In addition to his 11 passes in the feature, Danner also advanced four spots in the semi-feature, putting his total at 15.
At the end of Smackdown weekend following Saturday night’s program on August 23, ProSource will reward the driver advancing the most positions with a $500 bonus.
Past Smackdown Passing Master champions include C.J. Leary (2018), Chris Windom (2019 & 2020), Cole Bodine (2021), Alex Bright (2022) and Shane Cottle (2023).
This weekend at Kokomo Speedway, gates open at 4pm Eastern on Friday/Saturday. Cars will hit the track at 6:30pm on Friday and at 6pm on Saturday.
On Friday, general admission tickets are $30 with kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for members and $35 for non-members (all ages). On Saturday, general admission tickets are $35 with kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $40 for members and $45 for non-members (all ages).
