USAC SILVER CROWN CHAMP CAR SERIES FORMAT
Race format may be altered forspecial events or at the discretion of the chief steward.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Held on Friday. Two (2) laps tobe run consecutively with the fastest lap counting as the official qualifyingtime. Top-20 fastest on time will be locked into the feature.
QUALIFYING RACE:
Held on Friday. 10 laps. Top-6finishers transfer to the feature where they will occupy rows 11, 12 & 13in order of how they finished in the qualifying race.
FEATURE EVENT:
Held on Saturday. 50 laps. 26 starters. Starting lineupdetermined by qualifying for row 1-10, starting straight up, followed byqualifying race transfers in rows 11, 12 & 13 starting in order of how theyfinished.
