FIRST PRELIMINARY T-TOWN MIDGET ENTRY LIST REVEALED

FIRST PRELIMINARY T-TOWN MIDGET ENTRY LIST REVEALED

Tulsa, Oklahoma (March 30, 2021)………The initial edition of the pre-entry list for the second running of the Werco Manufacturing T-Town Midget Showdown presented by the Rayce Rudeen Foundation has been revealed with 28 drivers thus far making up the list for the April 9-10 events at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla.

Among the headliners already entered thus far are nine different USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget winners, including last year’s Port City final night victor, Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.), along with Oklahoma natives Jason McDougal (Broken Arrow) and Tyler Thomas (Collinsville).

Series champions Tanner Thorson (Minden, Nev.), Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.) and Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) already have their names on the dotted line, along with 2021 series winners Buddy Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.) and Thomas Meseraull (San Jose, Calif.), in addition to Kevin Thomas Jr. (Cullman, Ala.), 2021 USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car season opening night winner and many more.

Pre-entries are still being filed as we speak.  All drivers and teams can pre-enter now at https://usacracing.ticketspice.com/2021-t-town-entry.  Doing so gets you all set up for the two race days and you must pre-enter to guarantee yourself a spot in the main pit area for the weekend.

Recently, it was announced that FK Indy ($1,001) and Priority Aviation/Marshall Family ($1,000) have added to the purse to raise the winner’s share to $7,001 for the Saturday night, April 10 feature.

The Saturday event is the second of two consecutive nights for the series at the 1/8-mile dirt track, which features two complete shows on both Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10, with hot laps, qualifying and heat races, followed by the C, B and A-Main features.  Friday night’s event will pay $3,000 to the winner.

Tyler Courtney was victorious in last year’s inaugural series event at Port City while Justin Grant won the Saturday night finale.

T-Town Midget Showdown tickets can be purchased at: https://usacracing.ticketspice.com/2021-t-town-midget-showdown.  Pit passes can be purchased now at www.TracPass.com.

Both nights of the event can be viewed live on FloRacing.
