KOFOID TAKES INDIANA MIDGET WEEK POINT LEAD TO THE BURG

Lawrenceburg, Indiana (June 5, 2021)………Buddy Kofoid’s feature victory following a see-saw battle Friday night at Bloomington Speedway has positioned the Penngrove, Calif. driver as the new point leader of Indiana Midget Week with two races down and six to go in the 17th annual series.
Kofoid also finished 4th in the opener Thursday at Paragon Speedway and his total of 145 IMW points is 12 more than second running Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) in 2nd. Sutter, California’s Logan Seavey is 3rd (-16) with Ione, California’s Justin Grant 4th (-22) and San Jose, California’s Thomas Meseraull 5th (-27).
Indiana Midget Week continues Saturday night, June 5, at Lawrenceburg and will feature the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, Lawrenceburg Sprint Cars and Modifieds.
Fans can save $5 with purchase of advance tickets at www.TracPass.com. Tickets and pit passes will also be sold at the gate.
On Saturday, the pits open at 3pm EDT with grandstands opening at 5pm, drivers meeting at 5pm and hot laps at 6pm.
