BONUSES ADDED FOR SMACKDOWN VIII AT KOKOMO

Kokomo, Indiana (August 21, 2019)………Additional contingency awards have been added to this week’s Smackdown VIII festivities from Kokomo Speedway Aug. 22-23-24 courtesy of ProSource, B & W Auto Mart and Crume Evans Insurance.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has pledged $1,000 toward Smackdown VIII with $200 each night going to the Hard Work Award winner (the slowest qualifier to transfer to the A-Main), plus $400 for the weeklong Passing Master Award winner (the driver advancing the most total positions throughout the week's feature events).

Saturday’s King of the Hill Qualifying is proudly presented by B & W Auto Mart out of Bloomington, Ind., who will reward the winner with $400.

Crume Evans Insurance is rewarding the driver who advances the most positions during each night’s feature with $100 all throughout Smackdown.

These bonuses will be added to the season-long sponsors for USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car competition in 2019, including heat race sponsors Simpson Race Products, Competition Suspension, Inc., Auto Meter and Indy Race Parts.

Wilwood Brakes sponsors the driver who finishes 13th in each National feature event.  Saldana Racing Products will boost the spirits of the first non-transfer each night (the driver finishing one position out of the final transfer spot during the night’s semi-feature).  In addition, Saldana will reward any National Sprint and National Midget driver who performs a "sweep" of all the racing events for the night.  The driver must record the fastest qualifying time during time trials, win his or her heat race, then conclude the night with a feature victory.

KSE Racing Products will run through the pack to honor each event’s hard charger (the driver who advances the most positions from their original starting spot during the night’s main event).  Hoosier Tire serves as the official tire of USAC while VP Racing Fuels returns as the official fuel, Racing Electronics is the official communications provider and Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts is the official trailer of USAC.

iRacing is the official motorsport simulation of USAC.  Roger and Barb Tapy / R & B Truckers will supply a Hoosier Right Rear tire to the driver who qualifies 13th quickest during time trials of every USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car event.

The racing festivities at Kokomo first get underway on Wednesday, August 21, with #GYATK Night, a USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car non-points Special Event in honor of the late, great Bryan Clauson, winner of the first Smackdown in 2012.  Admission is FREE for all racefans.  Driver pit passes are also all FREE courtesy of AllStar Performance.  All gates open at 3pm Eastern, draw closes at USAC trailer at 6:10pm, drivers meeting in front grandstands at 6:15pm and cars on track at 6:30pm.
