WINDOM PASSES 46; CROWNED DOUBLE DOUBLE PROSOURCE PASSING MASTER
Kokomo, Indiana (September 27, 2020)………Chris Windom was the lone driver to advance his position in all four USAC National features this past weekend, earning himself the title of ProSource Passing Master for the Indiana Donor Network Driven2SaveLives Double Double at Gas City I-69 Speedway and Kokomo Speedway.
Windom passed an astounding total of 46 cars between the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car and USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget features Friday at Gas City and Saturday at Kokomo. In the Sprint Cars, the Canton, Ill. driver advanced from 22nd to 4th at Gas City and 18th to 9th at Kokomo. In the Midgets, he moved from 15th to 9th at Gas City and 14th to 1st in his victory at Kokomo.
Windom’s total of 46 was 30 more than his closest competitor. Tanner Thorson (Minden, Nev.) and Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) finished the weekend with 16 passes while Gas City Midget winner Cannon McIntosh (Bixby, Okla.) and Buddy Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.) each had 15.
Windom also possesses the lead in the overall, season-long, ProSource Passing Master standings by a whopping 85-point margin, an award which is worth $2,500.
