Waynesfield, Ohio (June 19, 2025)………Bryce Massingill overtook Luke Hall for the lead with three laps remaining to score the victory during Thursday night’s USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget non-points special event feature at Ohio’s Waynesfield Raceway Park.
Massingill (Troy, Ohio) started the 25-lap main event seventh on the grid but steadily worked his way forward to third on lap 20 and to second on lap 21. On lap 23, Massingill got by racelong leader Luke Hall (Ludlow Falls, Ohio) to take over the lead and the win in his family-owned No. 35.
Ninth starting Jakeb Boxell (Zanesville, Indiana) took second from Hall on the final lap to finish in the runner-up spot. Hall, who led a race-high 22 of 25 laps, came home third. Jalen Cox (Winchester, Indiana) crossed the line fourth while Tyler Nelson (Olathe, Kansas) rounded out the top-five.
