USAC.25 WELCOMES MPI AS PROMOTIONAL SPONSOR

USAC.25 Series Presented by Cook Out Welcomes MPI Wheels as Promotional Sponsor

Speedway, Indiana (Feb. 5, 2019)………MPI Wheels, one of the leading designers and manufacturers of state-of-the-art steering wheels used in various forms of motorsports, announced an agreement to become a promotional sponsor of the USAC.25 Series Presented by Cook Out for the 2019 national season.

As part of this agreement, the company will present MPI’s Up on The Wheel custom designed trophy to a USAC.25 driver that was considered to have been “up on the wheel” at each of the 2019 national races. A few of the qualifying factors to earn this award may include but are not limited to a driver who raced his or her way from the back of the field to win, overcame the most adversity in a race or made the biggest leaps coming from one of the lower mains to the A main.

MPI Wheels, located in Mooresville, N.C., was founded in 2009 by Max and Tatiana Papis. Both Max and Tatiana come from a rich history of motorsports as Max began racing professionally at 12 years old and has raced at the highest levels of motorsports from Formula 1, Champ Cars, IndyCar, IMSA and all three of NASCAR’s elite touring divisions including the premier class of Cup competitions. Tatiana is the daughter of famed open-wheel champion Emerson Fittipaldi.

“I’m excited to see this partnership between MPI and USAC becoming reality,” said Max Papis. “MPI fundamentals are safety, innovations and passion and see the same values  in USAC and their commitment to provide a great platform to all the USA kids to prove their talent in life and racing. I can’t wait to see our MPI Steering wheels being held by the best young racers in the nation.”

The USAC.25 Series Presented by Cook Out begins its national season at the Daytona International Speedway this weekend, Feb. 7-11. More than 350 entries of kids ages 5 and up travel from all over the country to showcase their talents on a temporarily constructed 1/20th mile-long racetrack inside the World Center of Racing.
