$2,000-TO-WIN REGIONAL MIDGETS AT WAYNE CITY SATURDAY

$2,000-TO-WIN REGIONAL MIDGETS AT WAYNE CITY SATURDAY

Wayne City, Illinois (May 28, 2019)………A $2000-to-win, $200-to-start open USAC Regional Midget event comes to the racy 1/8-mile Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Ill. this Saturday, June 1.

The rule package for the event is open to all “National” midgets, with D2 and chain-driven cars also permitted to compete.  Hoosier Tires must be on all four corners to compete.

The dirt oval located in southeastern Illinois has annually-hosted the “Jason Leffler Memorial,” which has been sanctioned by USAC since 2015 and won by the likes of Zach Daum, Daryn Pittman, Bryan Clauson, Brady Bacon and Tyler Thomas.  The sixth edition of the “Leffler Memorial” returns Oct. 17.

Pits open Saturday at 4pm with grandstands opening at 5:30pm.  Pill draw ends at 5:45pm with the drivers meeting taking place at 6pm, hot laps at 6:15pm and racing at 7pm.

Also on the card for this Saturday’s event are the HART Non-Wing 600 Outlaw Micros, which pay $600-to-win and $100-to-start and the Restrictors Junior Sprints.
