MORE THAN JUST BRAGGING RIGHTS, USAC TO CROWN SERIES FANTASY CHAMPION

CHARLOTTE, NC – Following a successful 2020 season, Dirt Draft and USAC Nation have again come to an official agreement that has positioned Dirt Draft to provide Fantasy Racing contests for all USAC sanctioned racing events. However, this time it is not just about bragging rights over friends and family. Dirt Draft Fantasy Racing and the United States Auto Club have teamed up to combine fantasy with reality; and together they will crown a season long 2021 USAC Fantasy Champion.

Close your eyes and fast-forward a few months to November. The USAC Midgets and Sprint Cars are out west wrapping up their seasons, while you just came inside from shoveling your driveway after that first big snowfall of the year. You grab yourself a beverage, flip on FloRacing and roll your eyes while mumbling “must be nice” after seeing that everyone is wearing shorts / t-shirts. You’re physically worn out because of the shoveling, and you’re mentally exhausted due to the long, demanding and extremely competitive fantasy racing season. You know you’re just one correct fantasy driver away from being crowned the 2021 USAC Fantasy Champion. You are ready for all of the glory and accolades that will come with it. You want the bragging rights. You need them. Life is good.

Chances are, that isn’t exactly how it will go down. But hey, this is FANTASY after all.

At Dirt Draft, we understand that not everyone can be a winner. If you’re a player who finishes 2nd through 100th, we haven’t forgotten about you. Bonus SpeedShop points will be awarded, as well as other exciting items and opportunities to be announced in the near future.

“All of us at Dirt Draft are very excited about extending and growing our partnership with USAC into the 2021 racing season”, said Jacob Nord of Dirt Draft. “Now that we have a year under our belts working 1-on-1 with the USAC team, we can collectively take what we have learned in order to maximize the fantasy experience for our users. I feel that this is an exciting time not only for Dirt Draft, but for USAC fans and racing fans all across the board”, he added.

The United States Auto Club, often referred to as USAC, was founded back in 1955 and serves as the sanctioning body for a number of racing series. These series include the Silver Crown Series, National Sprint Cars, National Midgets, .25 Midgets and more. Across all series, USAC sanctions over one hundred events per year, and many of them are broadcasted live on FloRacing.com

What is Dirt Draft?

Dirt Draft is the first grassroots racing fantasy sports website/app. On Dirt Draft, users pay a subscription of $5.99/mo. or $59.99/yr.to play unlimited contests from over 400 race events annually. Each contest is a salary draft in which a user has a $100,000 salary cap and must choose 5 drivers while staying under that salary cap to create their best team of 5. Each driver has a unique salary assigned to them dependent on their current ADR (average driver rating). This salary will increase/decrease each event based on data sent to Dirt Draft’s software evaluating their most recent performances. The user then enters a public contest to compete against hundreds of others, or a private contest to compete against their friends. The goal is that the user drafts a team that scores more points than all other users in which they are competing against. Based on a user’s performance in a contest, they are awarded points in which they can redeem in the Dirt Draft Speed Shop for event tickets, event ppv’s, merchandise, subscriptions, etc.
