Brownsburg, Indiana’s Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park is celebrating Open-Wheel Opening Day in style with FREE general admission to the racing events on Saturday, March 26.

The 2022 schedule at the .686-mile paved oval begins on March 26 with a 30-lap, $5,000 to win midget feature as well as a 30-lap, $5,000 to win sprint car feature. The midget program will be considered a USAC non-points special event, meaning no points will be awarded toward the USAC National series' championship standings.
The midget event will be the milestone 300th USAC sanctioned event on the IRP oval since its construction in 1961.
An open test is scheduled for the previous day, on Friday, March 25, from 3:00 to 6:00pm ET preceding this event to allow one final tune-up before race day.
On race day, March 26, the pits open at 10am ET with the drivers meeting at 12:30pm. Sprint car and midget practice begins at 1pm, followed by sprint car qualifying at 3:15pm, midget qualifying at 3:40pm, opening ceremonies at 4pm, the sprint car feature at 4:15pm and the midget feature at 5:05pm.

All parking for Open-Wheel Opening Day will be placed in Lot 2. Fans will still enter through the Main Gate off US Highway 136/Crawfordsville Road.

The track will still offer a $25 reserved ticket (that also includes a Hot Dog, Chips and 20 oz Water/Soft Drink). Pit passes are $35 apiece.
