MOPAR .25 NATIONAL AWARD SERIES OPEN APRIL 2-3

 


The brand-new USAC Mopar .25 National Award Series open this weekend at tracks in Florida, North Carolina and Arizona and will continue through November, recognizing the talents and achievements of America’s young competitive motorsports talent.


 


Tracks in Tampa, Salisbury, N.C. and Phoenix all host events this weekend counting toward this new award series, geared at creating competition between members of clubs across the nation, without the expense of having to travel far from home. All USAC Mopar .25 clubs and club members are eligible and each participating club is designating six races to count as point-paying events.


 


Briggs and Honda classes only are eligible for these new awards, with a minimum of four cars constituting a full field in Junior classes and a minimum of five cars constituting a full field in Senior classes. If there is not a required minimum number of cars in a class, then “ghost” cars will be used.


 


End of the season awards will be presented to the top-5 in each National Awards Series class. Eligibility for these awards includes participation in all six of the member’s home track events.


 


A $1,000 reward is also posted for the club which produces the most National Awards Series champions.


 


The new National Awards Series Championships are separate from the USAC Mopar .25 “Generation Next” Tour standings and participating USAC .25 Midget clubs include Buckeye Quarter Midget Club, Kokomo Quarter Midget Club,Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club. Little T Custom Midget Club, Mac-O-Chee, Metro Atlanta Quarter Midget Racing Association, Miami Valley Quarter Midget Club, Music City Quarter Midget Racing Association, North Carolina Quarter Midget Association, Northwest Ohio Quarter Midget Racing Association, Orange Show, Roadrunner Quarter Midgets, Tampa Bay Quarter Midget Racing Association and Valley of the Sun Quarter Midget Club.
