USAC'S .25 MIDGETS ON DISPLAY AT TRI-CITY THIS WEEKENED

USAC's newest exciting motorsports entity, .25 (point two-five) Midget Racing, will be showcased on the concourse behind the grandstands this weekend at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill.

Sharing the spotlight with the track's rich "Gold Crown Midget Nationals" USAC Mopar National Midget event will be an array of quarter-midgets for race fans to view, as well as information regarding USAC's new .25 Midget series and operations.

The track hosts the richest Midget race of the 2008 season Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and representatives of USAC will be on hand to answer questions about the .25 Midgets each night. In addition, USAC's new merchandise trailer will be on site with exciting new items of apparel and collectibles.

Information about how to get involved in USAC's newest motorsports activities will be available and fans can get a hands-on look at examples of the racing equipment.

Four quarter-midget clubs have become the first to affiliate with USAC in this new endeavor. As clubs continue to select USAC as their sanctioning body, information will continue to be displayed on the USAC Racing website, www.usacracing.com.

James Spink, USAC's new Director of Developmental Racing, will be on hand at the display to answer questions and offer insight into the new .25 Midget operations.
