THOMAS A 5-TIME USAC GO-KART ENDURO WINNER!

Speedway, IN........Kevin Thomas Jr. became a five-time winner of the USAC Benevolent Fund Go-Kart Enduro, which was held Tuesday night at Speedway Indoor Karting sponsored by the Tony Stewart Foundation.

Anchoring the Bell Helmets team, which also included Spencer Bayston, Tyler Courtney, Dalton Jones, Jason McDougal and Kody Swanson, Thomas won a five-lap shootout after regulation racing ended under caution.

Second place went to a team captained by C.J. Leary and Chase Barber led the third-place team.

The first three teams all completed 270 laps of the two-story facility. Davey Hamilton Jr. posted the fastest lap of the race at 32.288 seconds. The 21st Annual 3-hour ProAm Karting race benefited the USAC Benevolent Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial assistance to injured or needy auto racing participants and their families. Thomas' victory ties the all-time record of five wins set by Tracy Hines. Thomas previously won the race in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
