MIDWEST LEADER BLACKHURST GRABS GAS CITY FOCUS FEATURE

 


Gas City, IN……..Jake Blackhurst of Mapleton, Ill. led all but the first lap of Saturday night’s 20-lap USAC Midwest Ford Focus feature at Gas City I-69 Speedway after leader Eric Rankine spun on the second lap of the race. Trailing Blackhurst’s Kitchen Cooked Beast were Joe Liguori, Alfred Galedrige Jr., Kyle O’Gara and Toby Alfrey. The Midwest Focuses now head for a July 16 race at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio.
