NEAR-PERFECT STOCKTON FOR CHAMP PETERSON; BOWERS LANDS A “30”
 
Stockton, CA……..Garrett Peterson’s 2012 Stockton 99 Speedway season fell short of perfection as he won one 30-lap feature but scored a second in another Saturday night as the USAC Western North Ignite Midget series concluded. Peterson led the first 19 laps of the opener but finished second to Ricky Bowers as Molly Helmuth, Tyler Edwards and Shawn Buckley rounded out the top-five. In the nightcap, Peterson led the final 25 laps to beat Edwards, Cole Glasson, Bowers and Helmuth. Glasson, Didinger and Edwards shared the first five lap leaders. Peterson’s 2012 Stockton resume included a remarkable total of 11 wins and one second!
