USAC RAPID TIRE EAST COAST SPRINT CARS PRESENTED BY CAPITOL CUSTOM TRAILERS

Saturday, May 22 at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania)

Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania………The USAC Rapid Tire East Coast Sprint Cars make their way back to Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway this Saturday night, May 22.

The series made its debut at Selinsgrove last August and will be featured three times this season at the track. The race last year, run in conjunction with the USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series Bill Holland Classic, was won by Brady Bacon.

Selinsgrove Speedway will present the first four division show of the season at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 22, featuring the USAC East Coast wingless 360 sprint cars, PASS/IMCA 305 sprint cars, limited late models, and roadrunners on A&A Auto Stores Night.

The open wheel portion of the show will feature a 25-lap feature for the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars and a 20-lap main event for the winged 305 sprints. The limited late models will make their third start of the season in a 20-lap feature, with the roadrunners going 12 laps in distance for the fourth time this year.

May 22 will also be Family Night with students ages 17 and under admitted free for general admission seating.  Adult tickets are $15 with pit passes $30 apiece.  Track gates will open at 5pm EDT with qualifying at 7pm followed by racing.

AMSOIL USAC CRA SPRINT CARS

Saturday, May 22 at Perris Auto Speedway (Perris, California)

Perris, California (May 20, 2021)………The AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will return to their “home track,” Perris Auto Speedway, this Saturday, May 22nd for the “Salute to Indy.”

Promoted by Don Kazarian, the prestigious event will also showcase the PAS Senior Sprint Cars at “America’s Premier Dirt Track.” The show will follow COVID-19 protocols and face coverings are required for people on the grounds.

Tickets for the event are only available online at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/pas/7 and walk up tickets will not be sold.  The front gates will open at 5:00pm PDT and racing is scheduled for 7:00pm.

USAC ENGLER IMRA SPEED2 MIDGETS

Saturday, May 22 at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Illinois)

Canton, Illinois………Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill. is back on the docket this Saturday night, May 22, for the return of the USAC Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midgets.

Mark McMahill (Peoria, Ill.) leads the standings based on his consistent finishes of 2nd, 3rd and 6th throughout the first three events of the season.  Andy Baugh (Mason City, Ill.) and Jake Neuman (New Berlin, Ill.) have both won at Spoon River already this year.

DirtCar Street Stocks return to the Spoon, which is also Kids Bicycle Race Night.  Also on hand will be the DirtCar Modifieds, the DirtCar Pro Late Models, the E/B Mods and the DirtCar Hornets.

Pits open at 4pm CDT, grandstands at 5pm, drivers meeting at 5:45pm, hot laps at 6pm and racing at 7pm.  General admission tickets are only $10.  Kids 10 and under are free.  Adult pit passes are $30 each.  Pit passes for kids 10 and under are $20.

USAC DMA SPEED2 MIDGETS

Saturday, May 22 at Bear Ridge Speedway (Bradford, Vermont)

Bradford, Vermont………The USAC Dirt Midget Association resumes action this Saturday night, May 22, at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vermont.

Will Hull (Plainfield, Vt.) raced his way to the opening night victory on May 8 – his second consecutive season opening win at Bear Ridge – and leads the standings entering this weekend’s race.

Reigning series champion Seth Carlson (Stafford, Conn.) finished as the runner-up to Hull and stands two points behind Hull in the standings.

Hull and Carlson have finishes first and second to each other on four occasions since the beginning of the 2020 season with each winning two.

Pits open at 3pm eastern with gates opening at 5pm and racing at 6pm.  Adult tickets are $12 with kids aged 11 and under just $2.  The age 62 and over crowd is $10.  Pit passes are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
