HUNT BROKE SWANSON STRING OF WINS LAST YEAR AT ROSEVILLE

WESTERN SPRINTS DEBUT AT ALL-AMERICAN SPEEDWAY SATURDAY

The 2010 AMSOIL USAC Western Srint Car Series debuts this Saturday night at the All-American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. and three-time series champion Tony Hunt could be the man to beat.

Hunt, of Lincoln, Calif., interrupted the Swanson family victory lane party last year at the third-mile paved oval. He won one of the five Sprint races held there, while the brothers Swanson, Tanner and Kody, swept all the rest of the USAC Sprint and Midget races.

Hunt is the all-time leader in terms of series wins, with 26, while the Swansons have 11 each. Michael Lewis ranks second all-time with 15.

Tanner won three sprint races and a Midget race at Roseville last year and ended up claiming his second consecutive title in the Western Sprints. Kody was the 2005 titlist and between them, Hunt and the Swansons have six of the last nine championships!
