JONES CHAMP AS RAIN CLAIMS "EASTERN STORM" FINALE AT PORT ROYAL


 


Port Royal, PA……..Heavy rains have resulted in extremely wet grounds, forcing cancellation of tonight’s scheduled finale of the Eastern Storm” AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car tour at Port Royal Speedway. Defending champion Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. emerged with his second consecutive “Eastern Storm” championship as a result of the rainout. The AMSOIL USAC National Sprint cars now prepare for the opening race of the 2011 “Indiana Sprint Week” July 8 at Gas City I-69 Speedway.
